Preview Guide: 149th Annual Dinner Experience - Lancaster Chamber of Commerce
Chamber Updates

The Lancaster Chamber is honored to celebrate our resilient business community at this year’s 149th Annual Dinner Experience at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Wednesday, September 22 (rain date, September 23)!

The event will be packed with your favorite Annual Dinner moments – an inspiring message from organizational psychologist and best-selling author Adam Grant, a moment to honor four outstanding business leaders (meet all four award winners here!), live music from local band favorite Mama Tried, and an abundance of networking!

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions to keep in mind as you choose to purchase tickets, celebrate the business community, and support the Lancaster Chamber!

What is the format of the event? How does it work?

We are excited to welcome sponsors and attendees to Clipper Magazine Stadium – an untraditional venue for the Annual Dinner. Here’s a schedule with some context on what your ticket covers and how to prepare for the evening!

5 pm – 6 pm: RECEPTION

When you arrive to the venue, you will be directed to your coordinating reception area. Whether that’s a sponsor reception in the SkyBoxes or Broken Bat Bar or our attendee reception in the Concourse area, you’ll enjoy beer, wine and/or a signature cocktail, and plenty of delicious hors d’oeuvres by Otto’s Hospitality.

For those who have attended the event before: there is no formal, sit-down dinner, or tables. Your space will include some seating, high tops and, of course, the bleacher space. This segment of the evening is to enjoy food, beverages, and networking with other local business community members.

6 pm – 7:30 pm: SPEAKER & AWARDS

At 5:45 pm, we’ll begin to have all guests find their seats in the bleachers to prepare for the program portion of the evening. The dynamic program will include honoring our Entrepreneur of the Year, Small Business Person of the Year, the ATHENA award winner, and the Exemplar award winner (you can meet all four winners in our new announcement)! We’re also excited to be joined by Adam Grant, organizational psychologist and New York Times Best Selling Author, for a virtual fireside chat on leadership and business. As always, we have some other surprises up our sleeve!

7:30 pm – 9 pm: PARTY!

To end our evening, we’ll open up the infield of the stadium and enjoy music, networking, dessert, and more beverages on the field together! We can’t wait to create an atmosphere to foster relationships, meet new potential clients, and reconnect with your favorite businesspeople. We’ll end our night at 9 pm with fireworks!
