Gallery@115 | Truist Business Center
The Lancaster Chamber understands the importance of the arts and culture in our County. Arts and culture play a vital role in fostering creativity, enhancing quality of life, and driving economic development. Art has a way of bringing people together while serving as a platform for self-expression. We are honored to be able to utilize this space in our building here at 115 East King Street to support and uplift the creative community and bolster the art industry.
Gallery@115 is here to celebrate the incredible diversity of talent, from painters and sculptors to graphic designers and marketing visionaries in our Community. Our mission is clear: to uplift artists and bolster the art industry, recognizing that art is not only a medium of expression but a vital force that drives cultural enrichment and economic prosperity.
Our gallery isn’t just about art for art’s sake. We recognize the critical role art plays in fostering community cohesion and spurring economic growth. The art industry extends beyond the canvas and studio; it encompasses graphic design and marketing, two integral components of successful businesses in today’s digital age. Through our exhibits and programs, we bridge the gap between creativity and commerce, demonstrating how art and business can collaborate for mutual benefit. Our gallery serves as a nexus for these endeavors, forging connections between artists, businesses, and the broader community.
Gallery@115 is more than just a space; it’s a catalyst for creativity, innovation, and growth. We invite you to explore the ever-evolving tapestry of talent and ideas that define our gallery and join us in our mission to celebrate and support the art industry’s invaluable contributions to our community.

Lancaster County. A Thriving Community for All.
In early 2024, as part of the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s 100th-anniversary celebration, the Lancaster Chamber, along with several local chambers of commerce and business organizations, were awarded the Next 100 Year Boost Award, with grants of up to $5,000 each. These grants are designed to spark future-focused strategies and initiatives in communities across the county.
In alignment with our commitment to fostering an inclusive and inspiring environment, the Lancaster Chamber aimed to leverage the Next 100 Year Boost Award, graciously provided by the Lancaster County Community Foundation, to enhance the Truist Business Center on the 2nd floor of the Chamber’s office, serving as a visually stunning backdrop for group photos and a testament to the creative vitality and spirit of Lancaster County. Its design reflects both the deep historical roots of the region and the visionary future ahead. From preserved farmland and diverse cityscapes to the majestic riverlands and charming main streets, Lancaster’s businesses and people are ready to thrive.
Lancaster County Community Foundation
Since its founding in 1924, the Community Foundation has distributed more than $60 million to support local causes, their signature community event ExtraGive has generated $100 million in donations to organizations, and their wide variety of funds and scholarships have invested in countless students, emerging leaders, and impactful initiatives. They are a values-driven organization committed to responsible stewardship of our community’s endowment, inspiring generosity and engaging our community.
The Community Foundation believes that philanthropy is for everyone. That’s why they’re inviting individuals, businesses, and organizations to join in celebrating their 100th anniversary by sharing their ideas for the future and to be part of investing in Lancaster County for the next 100 years.

About the Mural
The Mural@115: Lancaster County – A Thriving Community for All, located on the second floor of the Truist Business Center at 115 East King Street, the Lancaster Chamber’s headquarters, was created not only to enhance the space but also to celebrate the vibrant spirit of our community. It reflects the growth, diversity, and innovation that make Lancaster a thriving place to live and work.
The mural is an abstract map of Lancaster County, with the Susquehanna River running diagonally through the design, marking the border between Lancaster and York counties. On the Lancaster side, the mural features decorative Fraktur-style art imagery, including botanicals and distelfinks (birds). This imagery also functions as a map, with each bird positioned over a significant Lancaster County town or area, symbolically representing its unique industries, history, and landmarks.

NEW NEIGHBORS: AN IMMERSIVE ART INSTALLATION
Since it was founded, Lancaster has been a haven for immigrants like me. We hear it over and over, because Lancaster is proud of it. And rightly so.
But there’s more to be said. The story doesn’t end with an immigrant’s arrival. These immigrants that make Lancaster so proud occupy an entirely different Lancaster than many residents ever see. When people arrive here from other countries, they build lives. They live in neighborhoods close to Central Market and Gallery Row but almost completely separate from them. There in the narrower streets where housing is closer to affordable, cultures blend and juxtapose as America changes them and they change America. This is Lancaster.
There’s a conversation to be had about immigrants that’s about more than demographics and numbers. It’s about the “now what?” moment when, after arriving, they begin living.
That’s what New Neighbors is about.
Ingoma Films
In the languages of the Bantu peoples, INGOMA means a kind of drum, or the songs played on it.
In Rwanda, INGOMA also refers to the throne of the precolonial king – a symbol, like the drums, of the roots of African culture. Those deep roots: traditional storytelling, vibrant creativity, & longevity stretching back millennia, are the foundations of everything we do.
We make beautiful films with ambitious creative and streamlined production logistics. INGOMA exists to tell stories that broaden perspectives. We highlight the worthy and uplift the marginalized, making the specific global and the global specific. We’re committed to working on projects that have a positive impact, partnering with organizations that actively make the world a better place. We are dedicated to social, economic, environmental renewal.
