Article has been updated as of 11/11/21 due to high demand and interest in this opportunity.

We are offering headshot photos in collaboration with PhotOle on November 19, 2021 for the #ExtraGive event!

Also, bookmark this page to give during the #ExtraGive.

In a digital world, it’s important to have a great headshot for your LinkedIn profile or your resume. For a ‘give-as-you-can’ contribution, those who contribute to the Mentoring Program #ExtraGive fundraiser will have an opportunity to get their updated headshot from PhotOle Photography. In addition to bringing awareness to the Mentoring Program, we also want to ensure this opportunity is serving those who have had barriers to getting quality headshots for their careers.

Headshot sessions will be from 8am-10am and 2pm-4pm on Friday, November 19, at the Lancaster Chamber building (115 E. King Street, Lancaster PA). You can sign up for possible time slots here. Session sign-ups will close on Wednesday, November 17 (or earlier) depending on availability. Those who signed up will be contacted by Ashley Glensor, Programs & Marketing Specialist, on Thursday, November 18, to confirm time slot of session. If all slots are full, you may be placed on a waitlist.

We encourage this to be for individuals looking for new headshots or have not been able to access headshots at an inexpensive rate.

The Lancaster Chamber’s High School Mentoring Program pairs more than 150 high school juniors with business professionals who can share advice, experiences, and connections as each student begins to think about life after graduation. This all-volunteer program has a waiting list of students who are looking for an opportunity to get real-life, practical information to help them narrow their vocational interests and educational goals. From exploring non-traditional careers to visiting employers to learning how to dress for success, this unique career exploration program is designed to educate our County’s youth about the world of work and our employers about their future workforce.

“This is a fabulous program that provides amazing experiences for participating students (mentees) and adults (mentors)!  For the past 8 years, I have volunteered and served in a variety of roles from being a mentor, an advisory committee member and a program presenter. Each year, I feel personally rewarded as we watch the students become more confident and prepared for their futures. I am thrilled that this program will be returning in the Fall of 2021.” – Janet Treer, President, The Treer Group

“This is a great program that pairs businesswomen and teen girls together for mentoring, job shadowing and leadership opportunities.  I was a mentor for one year and have been a school liaison and member of the advisory committee for two.  It’s so rewarding to see the mentors and mentees work together to realize the mentee’s career goals and to give back to the community.  And it’s very exciting that the program is coming back in the fall of 2021!” – Bobbi Austin, Vice President, Treasury Management Officer at Orrstown Bank
