• The Manufacturing Roundtable, a partnership with MANTEC, is an opportunity to connect with industry professionals and engage in meaningful, confidential discussions about the challenges impacting the industry.
• The HR Roundtable provides the space to learn best practices from professionals in the local labor marketon a variety of relevant topics – while gaining a network of peers to share ideas and navigate today’s challenges.

Wage & Policies Survey/Report

The Lancaster Chamber’s Wage & Policies Survey/Report is the most comprehensive survey to benchmark against local data on wages, company policies, and benefits information. For many years, manufacturing and industrial businesses have been the largest contributors to the data set – with the survey containing salary information on more than 300 jobs. Employers that enter information also receive some sections for free and reduced rates for their participation.

Industry Tours

Industry Tours offer attendees the unique opportunity to go inside a fellow Lancaster County business – tour the facility, get in-depth knowledge about what they do and how they operate, and consider how they can evaluate processes and standards in their own business. We have had the opportunity to receive exclusive behind-the-scenes tours at locations, like LCSWMA Lancaster Waste-to-Energy Facility, USGA/Lancaster Country Club, Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, and more!

New Manager Academy

New Manager Academy graduated its 500th participant in 2023 – and many of them have been from the industrial and manufacturing sectors. The program is an opportunity to provide an identified employee with the knowledge and skills they need as they advance in their responsibilities and roles. The multi-session academy focuses on team leadership, management skills, motivating teams, managing performance and evaluations, and decision making & problem solving. It’s offered in-person and virtually throughout the year.

Business Education Partnerships

Meeting countywide workforce needs now and into the future is a core strategy at the Lancaster Chamber. Through a variety of strategies, we are ensuring that students have opportunities for experiential learning, mentorship, and career exposure so they are aware of the many opportunities in Lancaster. We put a focus on our high employment sectors – manufacturing and healthcare – helping to develop students entering the workforce now and into the future.

One of the things we’re known for is connections – and the Lancaster Chamber provides countywide connections. From mixers for growing your network, to our Young Professionals Network aimed at retaining your young professionals,
to the Women’s network creating meaningful connections for women in the workplace, there is a large variety of ways to provide powerful networking for your team!
