Tell us a little about yourself! Where did you work previously before your role here at the Chamber? A Pennsylvania native, I graduated from Messiah University in 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology. I launched my career in non-profit program management through a yearlong internship with International Justice Mission in Kolkata, India. For the past two and a half years, I served as the Community Impact Manager at YWCA Carlisle, where I had the opportunity to innovate and implement numerous mission-driven programs to empower women and eliminate racism across Cumberland County.
What are some of your hobbies or passions or interests? I love the outdoors, so you’ll often find me hiking, backpacking, camping, or kayaking! I enjoy reading, traveling, sampling fabulous pasta dishes, and adding plants to my collection. I remain avidly involved in anti-human trafficking efforts as a volunteer with International Justice Mission.
Do you have a quote you are inspired by? “I must be willing to give whatever it takes to do good to others. This requires that I be willing to give until it hurts. Otherwise, there is no true love in me, and I bring injustice, not peace, to those around me.” – Mother Teresa
What do you love about the Lancaster County community? I love the charm! Lancaster County is infused with a dynamic arts community, exceptional cuisine, and vibrant cultural diversity. I’m also a huge fan and frequent visitor of Lancaster County’s many nature preserves!
What are you most excited about in joining the Lancaster Chamber team? I am excited to foster impactful relationships with community members, businesses, and organizations across Lancaster County. I am looking forward to investing in Lancaster County and contributing to its growth!
