This past month, the Chamber has added a new team member to the organization. We would like to introduce you to Ruby Santos!

Ruby Santos, Business Programs Specialist

In her role as Business Programs Specialist, Ruby, manages curation & execution of programs, special initiatives, and niche groups for the Chamber. The role creates relevant content, manages logistics, monitors budget & data, supports marketing & communications, and leads volunteers for a set of programs tailored to a business audience, including but not limited to, Excellence Exchange, Women in Business, Roundtables, Peer Groups, & Networking events.

• 100% Instagram! I use it as an outlet for creativity, staying in touch with loved ones, and connecting and learning from those in my industry who are around the world.

3 words that best describe you? 

• Playful, strong, and rowdy.

Dream travel destination? 

• I would go back to my roots at a Sicilian all-inclusive resort. You really can’t beat a destination that offers stunning Mediterranean views with crisp Italian wines and homemade cannoli.

What inspires you? 

• Witnessing strong women doing what they love, while also sharing their journey and lessons learned along the way. Seeing someone be unapologetically themselves and make money while doing it really lights a fire in me! It encourages me to challenge the limits I may place on myself and to push beyond them in my own endeavors

What makes you laugh? 

• Videos of cats being goofy! If you dig through Instagram, you can quickly find some gold

Any hidden talents?

• I love cooking and hosting guests, so in my next life I’ll go to culinary school and open a bed and breakfast
