The Lancaster Chamber values and respects the privacy of our members. It is our policy to protect the information you provide. The following paragraphs describe what information the Lancaster Chamber collects, why we collect it and how its treated.

What information does The Lancaster Chamber collect?

When you register for an event or purchase products or reports:

  • Your name
  • Your e-mail address
  • Your company name
  • Your contact information, such as phone number, fax number and address
  • Your credit card information, such as card number, type and expiration date

What does the Lancaster Chamber do with your information?

Internally, any financial information you provide via the event registration section of out website is used for billing purposes related to the event for which you’ve registered. The Lancaster Chamber does not keep any credit card information on file manually or electronically.

The Lancaster Chamber retains the option to sell our member list with your contact information (e.g., name, company name, company address, phone and fax) at any time to active members who are in good standing within the organization. Members may choose to opt out of this list by contacting the Business Relations team at (717)-397-3531. We do not disclose members’ financial information.

Periodically throughtout the year we update our members via email. If at any time you want to opt out of receiving our email communications, each communication includes the instructions for doing so.

Does The Lancaster Chamber use cookies?

A cookie is a tiny file of data that remains on your hard drive. The Lancaster Chamber does not use cookies on our website or in our e-mails to collect any personal information. We do, however use cookies in our surveys in order to ensure that our sample is valid and that the same member does not submit mutiple responses.

We will us this information (e.g., user traffic patterns, page views on the website, click-thought rates, search terms that users enter into our search utility) to monitor the flow of traffic and make improvements to the site’s content.

The Lancaster Chamber is committed to ensuring the security of your information. What about children using this site?

While there is no content at www.lancasterchamber.com that is unsuitable for children, we do however process monetary transactions.
